Hello, Challenger Middle School Parents and Guardians.
We would like to remind you that our students will be testing from April 20th to April 24th. Please make sure your children are well rested and arrive to school no later than 7:25am. Remind your children to come to school prepared and to make sure that their computers are charged for testing.
We would also like to remind you that we will not remove students from a classroom if the teacher is in the middle of testing. Please try to schedule any appointments for after school hours during the testing period.
We thank you for your cooperation.
Estimados padres y tutores de Challenger Middle School:
Nos gustaría recordarles que nuestros estudiantes realizarán exámenes del 20 al 24 de abril. Por favor, asegúrense de que sus hijos estén bien descansados y lleguen a la escuela a más tardar a las 7:25 a. m. School attendance is critical for academic success, with chronic absence defined as missing
10% or more of school days. Schools collaborate with district attorneys (DAs) to combat chronic truancy by implementing escalating interventions, including mandatory meetings and mediation, aimed at getting students back to class.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
To ensure the safety of all students, we kindly ask for your cooperation with our student release and pick- up procedures. If there are any changes to how your child will be going home, please notify the school at least an hour before the end of the school day. All changes must be submitted in writing or by email. If your child attends an after-school program, the school will also communicate with the program staff to ensure everyone is informed of the change in dismissal plans. These procedures help us maintain safe and organized dismissal procedures for all students. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
